THE CONTINENTAL
The newly opened Continental hotel crowns the lists of NYC musts. The 74-room hotel takes life in what was once known as the Carnegie Hall in Midtown Manhattan.
The goal of this project was to advertise a newly renovated hotel. The project had to include a floor plan, elevations, renderings, and online photographs.
Inspiration behind this project was the exterior image of the Carnegie Hall.

His home within a home, a secluded haven cattered to the modern gentleman. The goal of the project was to create a "man cave" for a young bachelor wanting to escape the monotonous daily routine. Also in the line up of goals was a place for his buddies to all gather and enjoy a couple of drinks. The young man was open to any design style, but he loved panel walls. He considered himself a book worm, and he wanted a space to enjoy daily reading.

Darker neutrals combined with natural, strong materials on the ceiling, walls, and floor create a masculine vibe. Timeless textures like leather and plaids add a bold punch of color. Book-filled shelves reflect a cozy, comfortable, charming hub. A well stocked bar with more booze than your local nightclub is at the disposal of any welcomed guest. Game night is a weekly occurrence in the space, utilizing the poker table and dart board.

The goal of this project was to update the floor plan to provide the family of 4 with an efficient kitchen/dining/laundry layout, create office accessibility, update the master suite, create exterior entertainment space, and space plan for a fresh furniture layout.

Planning and designing the administration facilities, totaling 10,000 square feet including the core. The solution should create an image that reflects and interprets the firm’s attitudes and the sustainable philosophy. The plan must be of a well-organized functional arrangement that encourages productivity.

Relaxing space for passengers and crew to hang out before or after take off. Opal's is built on the idea of a self-serve cafe, giving the guest the independence to enjoy the amenities freely. Guest will experience a modern, industrial feel while visiting Opal’s, expect lots of windows and steel components throughout.
